So this is my first Blog entry.  What do I say?  What do I blog? It seems so many out there in cyber space are blogging away.  My monkey mind is curious!  What is a blog? Why blog? Who will read it? Why bother?  What do I have to say that is important?  Do we do it for others to read?  What if no one reads it? What if no one cares?  What if we are too busy or bombarded by all the other info on the net?  Maybe blogging is more for ourselves.  It is a way to express our thoughts.  I write in a journal, but oh my, I don’t share that with others. Do I need to sensor my blog? Spell check my blog? What is the blogging etiquette? So what shall I blog about?  This just seems to be a blog about blogging! An expression of my monkey mind πŸ™‚ lol.  So what is this word BLOG? Is it a way to log our blah blah blah?  I know I have hesitated creating a blog.  Does this just add one more thing I feel I need to do? Well regardless of my monkey mind chatter I have decided to give it a go and step into this realm of cyber space.  Every summer I teach a 7 week chakra yoga session and as I share the classes I also e-mail info about each Chakra to my students.  It seems as I share the information that I have learned, I also learn much about myself. It has always been so insightful!  So I am going to blog about the chakra journey this year and invite others into the conversation.  One thing I know for sure is when I have the courage to share my story with others,  it is also an opportunity for healing.  And because we are more the same than we are different, we can help each other when we share our truth.  We all have a voice and we all have a right to speak our truth.  Our pain and our joy. This is our birthright!  This is my blog! Blissings, Nienke

  1. I think it is very fun (and brave!) that you are starting a blog.
I may join you on that journey in the near future…but for now I am happy to join you on the Chakra journey!

  2. Marian Dell says:

My Sacral and Navel chakras are out of balance. These are the two sessions that I will miss. Coincidence??

  3. Yoga Bliss says:

Thanks Sacha for acknowledging me. I guess it is time to step out of the confined box of illusory safety πŸ˜‰

And Marian, I don't think that is a coincidence at all! I hear it happen over and over with my students. They miss the classes that they need the most. hmmmmm…. very interesting πŸ™‚ Let's be curious about that!

  4. Did the Chakra test and I am "magician" or open more in the brow Chakra. I am really looking forward to the sessions.

  5. Yoga Bliss says:

Thanks for sharing Tess. Very cool to be the magician! The archetype of the Magician entails such concepts as intuition, knowledge, confidence, action, and creation. The magician seeks esoteric knowledge to bring about transformation or to bring new things into existence.
I am the healer with my heart chakra open the most. Namaste

  6. Welcome to the blogosphere! Great to see you're sharing your expertise and passion about yoga with the world and guess what? That's what blogging is all about! Have fun πŸ™‚
