Module 1: YOGA AND AYURVEDA 7 hours

This training will offer an introduction to Ayurveda and then we will dive deeper into how this knowledge can benefit our physical yoga practice. Vata, pitta, and kapha are the three mind-body principles, or doshas, in Ayurveda, the blend of which determines our individual constitutional makeup. Understanding which yoga styles, postures, and pranayama techniques support or weaken each dosha can help us address short-term and long-standing imbalances. By following the wisdom of Ayurveda, we can bring ourselves back into natural alignment with life.

Module 2: AYURVEDA AND THE SCIENCE OF FOOD / COOKING 7 hours
In this training we will learn about the 6 tastes of Ayurveda and food combining. We will learn about food as medicine and the health supportive use of herbs and spices and how to incorporate these ancient healing practices into life. We will be hands on in the kitchen learning how to cook an Ayurveda meal together.

Module 3: AYURVEDA, BEAUTY & SPA DAY 6 hours
Ayurvedic practitioners have known the secret of beautiful, lustrous skin for more than three millennia, because they recognize that the skin is the reflection of everything that is going on inside of us. The Ayurvedic approach to ageless beauty works because it is sensitive to individual needs and always tailors the beauty routine to the person. We will learn about Ayurvedic beauty secrets and design a individual beauty routine, plus create home-made products and try them out. It will be a fun and nurturing day to beautify and nourish yourself from the inside out.

Cost $200 plus HST for each Module; each day includes an Ayurvedic lunch
